Microscope Servicing

At NMS Microscope Services, we offer a complete servicing and maintenance visit.

We pride ourselves on our customer orientated approach to the servicing of your optical microscopes. All our work is carried out on site to cause minimum disruption to your equipment use. We provide a service to fit around your hours and fulfil your individual needs. We will service or repair any number of microscopes, however small. We provide both one off servicing and contracts for 2 or more annual visits, all at an affordable price. Written quotations are always provided and are valid for 6 months.

Our servicing includes:

• Removal and cleaning of all optical parts
• Checking and lubrication, if required, of all moving parts
• Cleaning of the main microscope body
• Reassembly and calibration

Simple repairs may be carried out at the time of the service visit. More complex repairs or those requiring spare parts would be discussed on a case by case basis.

Diagnostic/research microscopes equipped for fluorescence - £40

If required, we can also provide service reports for each microscope. Both the servicing and the report meet the high standards required for laboratory accreditation eg. CPA

A service or a small repair may restore your microscope to full working order and so prevent the major expense of buying a new instrument.
